Books and daredevil crochet

Besides the orders I knit or crochet (gloves, booties, shawls and blanket)
I'm making this .. euhm.. thing.

Its round, crocheted with my own handspun and its growing.
But what it will be in the end is a big mysterie for me.

Quite dangerous, right!
For me it is.
I'm always making something with a special goal in my mind.
I love it.

For my frequent readers:
the Damask shawl went to my beloved and talented
sister. It was her birthdaypresent.
And it just matched perfect with her dark eyes and hair!

I love getting emails of happy knitters and customers
trough Etsy and Ravelry.
But the best is
Snail Mail.

Brought by the postman.

These very cute books are handmade by
the talented Maya Honeycutt

We had a swap and I hope she's just as happy as I am!

Thanks Maya!

(if you like to swap, just let me know!)

For the Dutch readers:
Do you know if there's a turkish spindle maker in The Netherlands?

De damask is gewoon SUPER! Het model, het patroon en vooral de kleur. Bonus is de liefde waarmee het gemaakt is.

Prachtige originele kaartjes zeg.

Oh ja, veel plezier op de beurs in Zwolle. Zie je daar?
