I'm making this .. euhm.. thing.

Its round, crocheted with my own handspun and its growing.

But what it will be in the end is a big mysterie for me.

Quite dangerous, right!
For me it is.
I'm always making something with a special goal in my mind.

I love it.

sister. It was her birthdaypresent.

How I love simple crochet in worsted cotton

(handdyed merino and manos red)

divided my roving in thinners "pencilstrips" before spinning

the yarn looks the same, but its relaxter spinning for my hands (fingers)

is that I make things I never would have started myself

this one made me learn about knitting bottom-up, with attached sleeves
how to knit good stripes, make a raglan and a nice collar

Had a great spinning weekend in Elspeet

The Landelijke Spingroep had her annual weekend

we could even sit outside on the sunday!

There were 130+ wheels/spindles
a lot of information and talking

There was a fleamarket in our neighbourhood, and I found some delicious blue mohair.

That will be a new Areia (pattern overhere)

It knits up very smoothly and quickly!

Veyla mittens are finished.

Knitted the second one partly during a very nice Etsy Meeting.

Went there with Kinchi, saw a lot of other Etsy people and talked with very inspirational people.

Last week I started knitting with Surpreme Possum Merino

(with possum fur, merino and silk)
